Michael Olson & Victoria Shen Present at the A&S Teaching Innovation Showcase
Do you want a first look at the creative approaches that could change the way courses are taught in Arts & Sciences? The Teaching Innovation Showcase is an opportunity to hear from innovative A&S faculty who are transforming the classroom learning experience. Our own Michael Olson will present on his teaching project, Experiencing the Politics of Everyday Through Film -- an effort to teach undergraduate students to recognize politics not only in the halls of Congress, or on election night, but in all sorts of everyday interactions and situations. Another Political Science faculty member, Victoria Shen, will present on Grade Your ChatGPT: When Confidence Isn’t Competence -- her project aimed at empowering students to audit and outperform the quick, polished answers produced by generative AI.
