Faculty member Stephanie Shady recently received the ArtSci Council Excellence in Teaching in the Social Sciences Award at a ceremony on the Danforth Campus. The Excellence in Teaching Award, formerly known as the Distinguished Teaching Award, was established to honor and publicly recognize an outstanding faculty member in Arts & Sciences for exceptional teaching. The award is determined by student nominations, and honors the overall contributions to teaching in Arts & Sciences and the faculty member's excellence in the classroom and transformative impact on students.
